Who We Art
The Auburn Arts Commission is a non-profit, volunteer organization that works to promote the arts in DeKalb County, Indiana.
The Arts in Auburn and DeKalb County Indiana
The Auburn Arts Commission was created in the mid-1980s by the City of Auburn, Indiana, to encourage arts in the community. In 1994, the Commission became independent of the city as a not-for-profit organization and broadened its focus to include all of DeKalb County. The organization concentrates its advocacy and programming on five key areas: fine art, writing, music, drama, and theater, in addition to recognizing patronage of the arts.
